As a student at King's, you will receive a 15% discount on all our services:

• Proofreading:  a thorough check to make surethat your work is free from spelling, punctuation, typographical and grammatical errors. As your editor will be an academic, any corrections made will be in good academic English.

• Proofreading & Language Editing:  after your editor has proofread your work, we will look at your language style and structure. Your editor will ensure that you are using clear and grammatical sentence structures, that you don’t repeat yourself and that your referencing style is correct. We check that your ideas and arguments are expressed logically and coherently. Essentially, we are ensuring that your tutor, supervisor or external examiner will understand the correct meaning of your work , whilst raising the overall academic style and tone of your writing.This service is particularly popular with students and academics who have English as their second language (ESL).

• For longer documents such as dissertations and theses, we will also check the numbering and formatting of sub-headings and create a Table of Contents, ensuring correct pagination, as part of a Proofread & Language Edit.

• Journal Editing: a specialised service wherewe edit the language in your paper to a publishable standard, ensuring that your ideas and your arguments are expressed clearly and concisely, and format your work to meet the requirements of your chosen Journal or Journals.  You will need to provide us with a  copy of your paper and a  copy of – or a hyperlink to – the formatting requirements for the Journal or Journals to which you wish to submit your paper.

With all our services, we make any and all changes for you and will return two copies when complete: one with Track Changes, and a clean version with these removed. We prefer to work on Microsoft Word but other formats can be accommodated.
